About us Dunne Roberts have over 22
years experience in the field of providing printed circuit services. Based in the center of Southampton in Hampshire on the south coast of England we provide a professional PCB design (layout & route) service to clients in all areas of the UK and Ireland, as well as internationally including both the USA and Japan. Although we are a small company, we are approved suppliers to many multinational companies including one of the major Japanese electronic giants who have become a leading brand in quality home electronics. In the UK we cover all electronic markets, in the defense we have worked for many years for the Defense Research Agency, then called DERA, and now known as QinetiQ. These clients feel they have benefited from our size rather than been limited by it, our quality of service and speed of response often being cited as primary reasons for our position in their critical supply paths By utilising high speed communication links we can send and receive large amounts of data , thus giving our clients almost instant access to their project, enhancing their control and maximising their input at critical stages. The principles behind Dunne Roberts are John Dunne and Derrick Roberts. Both were trained in electronics and PCB design and have enhanced their skills and understanding as technology has progressed.

Quality This has always been one of our
primary objectives. We have been registered for the design and supply of printed
circuit services to BS EN ISO9001:1994 since 1995 and are currently registered to BS EN ISO9001:2000. The most critical test of our
quality system is our clients feedback, and the fact that many have been using
us for a number of years bears witness to the effectiveness of our proce The ISO9001 certification ensures our company procedures are optimised to ensure quality.
Confidentiality As we are used as part of our
clients design team we are used to working to the highest levels of
confidentiality, we have multiple NDA’s in force and we
respect these absolutely. In the past we have even worked for rival companies in the same field with neither party aware of the existence of the competing project.

Client Area With the growing problems coming from the threat of viruses in email attachments, more and more companies are setting limits as to the attachment size. With most databases being larger than 2 Mbytes, even when compacted, this can cause a problem and engineers are looking for alternative ways to exchange data. In response to this we offer a secure client area with a unique http//: address for each design data, within either a company wide or individual engineer password protected area. This could be the latest version of your current design or if we are managing your library, the latest library version. Once registered, you will have a password secured area within our website where you can download your files. As long as the data is current, the link will be active, once the project is completed, for security reasons the data is deleted. When your data is ready for review we will send you an email with an http//: link to the compacted data within the secured area, the compacted data can also also be password secured if required, adding another level of security.

Value for money Price is a prime concern when
planning a project, and of course we offer fixed price and delivery quotations
based on the data presented. However value for money is more objective. We often pick up design errors which reduce the need for more prototype runs or offer advice on cost reductions, layout issues or manufacturing problems. we keep a complete log of hours spent at different stages of the design so that a project can be kept on track. These value added items will not appear on any quotation but they greatly enhance the success of a project, we believe the clients problems are our problems and if we can help resolve these, our reputation, and indeed, job satisfaction is enhanced.
