Altium Designer

We have been using Protel since the early nineties, Protel for Windows, and we are still using it's successor, Altium Designer.

This package offers one of the best integration between schematics and pcb that we have seen.

Complex component height information, intelligent power planes and better control over output file generation are only a few of the features that the Altium Designer has to offer.

We know that this is important for our clients ensuring compatibility and fast exchange of design data that we use the same version of design software as they operate in house.

For these reasons we can offer designs on all versions of Altium or Protel currently in use.

Mentor Graphics Expedition

As a company we  have been using the Expedition Pinnacle system to design PCB's since the Veribest days in 1998, long before Mentor Graphics acquired the company.

Both John Dunne and Derrick Roberts were actively involved with the Veribest user group, VBUG.

The Expedition Pinnacle offers the best interactive router around, with rules and classes to specify the tracking. 

This system offers full control when manual routing, with different levels of gloss, true push and shove, track and via jumping ,routing is a dream. 

Mentor have now added to ability to split a pcb design between multiple designers, so more than person can route the board, drastically shortening the time it takes.

We offer designs on the latest version Expedition, which is now supplied by Mentor Graphics.

Zuken CR5000

We are one of the few bureaus in the UK that have experience of  the Zuken CR5000 PCB design (layout & route) system. 

This is the leading PCB CAD system in Japan, it's a big hit with our Japanese clients and is the top of the range offering from Zuken. It is a very capable design suite although little known in the UK.

The CR5000 system is particularly suited to large companies that require a high level of integration between the design , purchasing and manufacturing aspects of their production cycle.

The CR5000 has many tools uniquely suited to high volume production techniques and provides an extremely powerful design suite to ensure manufacturability and testability.

Zuken Cadstar

We have now added Zuken Cadstar to our range of EDA tools, this enables us to support all Zuken users.

Cadstar is a very capable schematics and pcb layout package offering a range of useful features and has a large UK user base.
